Chungwoon University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have had a long-standing cooperative relationship. According to the 3+1 joint training agreement signed in 2002, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities annually accepts approximately 10 Korean students to study at the Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language.
During the meeting, Professor Kim Jong Uk highly appreciated the university's willingness to cooperate and proposed expanding areas of cooperation to include research, organizing seminars, cultural exchanges between students of the two universities, etc. Regarding training, he proposed implementing more joint training programs at the postgraduate level, especially in highly applied fields such as Tourism and Hospitality, Social Welfare, and Communication. In addition, Chungwoon University wishes to cooperate with Vietnam to establish a Vietnam research center at its Incheon campus.

In response, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan shared his views on the cooperation proposals made by Professor Kim Jong Uk and noted that, thanks to similarities in training programs, the two universities have many opportunities to implement cooperation at the postgraduate level. The Vice Rector will widely disseminate information about the potential for cooperation to the units within the university and proposed that the two universities maintain regular contact and exchange information on specific cooperation plans in the future.

Chungwoon University was founded in 1995 and is located in Hongseong City, Chungnam Province, South Korea. The university has over 6,000 students. Its constituent units include the College of Science and Technology, the College of Television Arts, the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, the College of Tourism and Hospitality, the Graduate School, and the College of Education. The Graduate School, established in 1990, comprises 30 departments covering a wide range of fields such as architecture, tourism, commerce, advertising, music, and media.
