In Vietnam today, translated literature accounts for a large proportion, is rich in genre and language, and holds an important position in literary life. Especially since the implementation of the renovation policy in Vietnam, translated literature has had an "explosive" development. However, literary translation in Vietnam still has many problems: there are no systematic and methodical training programs on the theoretical model of literary translation, translation methods and skills. Teaching about literary translation is mainly conducted in universities specializing in foreign languages and is considered a part of foreign language practice. Literary translation today depends a lot on personal experience, and therefore affects the quality of translated works.
