During the meeting, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh received a diverse collection of books from the Thai Embassy. He considered this a noble and important gesture from the Thai Embassy, marking the development of relations between Thailand and Vietnam. He hoped the books would be used effectively to help faculty and students of the University enhance their understanding of Thailand and further strengthen bilateral solidarity.

The Embassy stated that the book series is a heartfelt gesture from the Thai people to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, aiming to enhance relations between Vietnam and Thailand and contribute to the formation of the ASEAN community in 2015. Through this, he also expressed his desire to continue cooperating with the University by upgrading the Thai Studies Room, inviting faculty and students to attend the Thailand Day exhibition on December 6th at Thong Nhat Park, and inviting qualified faculty and staff to serve as judges in the Thai language public speaking competition to be held in June 2015.
In response, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh welcomed the invitations and suggestions from Ambassador Panyarak Pollthup and expressed his gratitude to the Thai Embassy for sponsoring the School in compiling the Thai language curriculum. He also proposed further cooperation in developing faculty and student exchanges between the School and Thai universities, especially in the fields of Vietnamese studies and the Vietnamese language.
