At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh received a set of books on various fields from the Thai Embassy. The Associate Professor said that this was a noble and important gesture from the Thai Embassy to mark the development of relations between Thailand and Vietnam. He hoped that the set of books would be used effectively to help the school's staff and students increase their understanding of Thailand and further strengthen the solidarity between the two sides.

The Embassy said that the book series is the sincere feelings of the Thai people for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, aiming to enhance the relationship between Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to the formation of the ASEAN community in 2015. Through this, he also expressed his desire to continue cooperating with the University through upgrading the Thai Studies Room at the University, inviting staff and students of the University to attend the Thailand Day exhibition on December 6 at Thong Nhat Park, and inviting capable staff and lecturers to be judges in the Thai speech contest held in June 2015.
In response, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh accepted the invitations and suggestions of Ambassador Panyarak Pollthup and thanked the Thai Embassy for sponsoring the School in compiling Thai language textbooks. He also proposed further cooperation in the exchange of lecturers and students between the School and Thai universities, especially in the fields of Vietnamese studies and Vietnamese language.
