Based on the agreement signed between the two schools, the group of students had about 2 weeks to study Japanese language and traditional Japanese culture. At the same time, the group was also supported by teachers and students of the school to visit historical sites and famous tourist attractions in the ancient city of Nara, the ancient capital of Kyoto and Osaka city. During their time at the school, the students also participated in exchanges with the Vietnamese language class of Nara Women's University. Students of the Japanese Department had the opportunity to present reports in Japanese on topics of interest to them and conduct surveys and interviews in Nara. Topics such as marriage, part-time jobs for students, etc. are common concerns of young people about life and the future.

In addition, the Vietnamese student delegation also spent about 3 days in Tokyo to exchange and visit. Here, they were also assisted by Senshu University - a long-time partner university of the Department - in terms of dormitory and tour guide. Senshu University was also very interested in creating opportunities for members of the delegation to meet the board of directors and participate in the workshop "Research on pre-modern Japanese history in Vietnam" organized by the school's History Department. Although the time here was very short, the Vietnamese students also visited famous places in Tokyo.
