"FJC Welcomes Spring 2016" - Warmth between teachers and students

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication; Mr. Nguyen Son Minh, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication; Mr. Pham Dinh Lan, Director of the Center for Broadcasting and Communication Professional Services (CMP); along with faculty members, lecturers, and students from the faculty.

Bearing the message "A vibrant spring arrives, renewing the bond between teachers and students," "FJC Welcomes Spring 2016" was a warm and intimate gathering and exchange between faculty and students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. The program was not only an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students of the Journalism Faculty to meet at the beginning of the year and exchange good wishes, but also to strengthen the close and friendly relationships between faculty, staff, and students in the faculty.

The outstanding cultural performances by students and faculty members brought a joyful, enthusiastic, and spring-like atmosphere to the gathering. The interaction and sharing session between the faculty members was positively received by the students due to their openness and sincerity, making them feel like members of a family – the Journalism Faculty family.

MSc. Pham Dinh Lan shared the story of a Lieutenant celebrating Tet (Lunar New Year) during the resistance war in Laos. MSc. Nguyen Son Minh recalled the memory of the "first peach blossom branch" when he stayed to celebrate Tet at the Faculty. And Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen shared her thoughts about her years of studying and working at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities… The wishes, the sharing, and the lucky red envelopes from the teachers were incredibly meaningful gifts for all students of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication.

The incredibly fun games, involving both teachers and students in the second part of the program, brought joy and laughter and seemed to help bridge the gap between teachers and students.

“FJC Welcomes Spring 2016” is an initiative of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Student Union and Association of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. The program has received support from the faculty leadership and students, and promises to continue developing and expanding in the future.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication, on behalf of the Faculty's leadership, delivered a congratulatory speech for the program and extended New Year greetings to all faculty members, lecturers, and students in the Faculty.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Vice Head of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication, gave lucky money and wished good luck to all students present in the auditorium.

On behalf of the Faculty Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong presented a lucky money envelope to the newly elected Executive Committee of the Youth Union and Student Association on the occasion of the New Year.

Faculty, staff, and students of the Faculty of Broadcasting and Communication took a commemorative photo at the end of the program.
