At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a leading training address for social sciences and humanities in Vietnam. The President emphasized the University's internationalization strategy, especially strengthening English-taught programs, expanding cooperation with international partners, and promoting international publications. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities wishes to exchange and cooperate with RMIT International University in specific activities such as organizing joint seminars, exchanging students, lecturers, etc. On a personal level, the President also invited Dr. Tan Boon Hwee to participate in seminars and social training courses organized by the University.
Dr. Tan Boon Hwee expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of the USSH and the invitation to participate in events organized by the University. Dr. Tan Boon Hwee also proposed additional bilateral cooperation options such as co-publishing publications on Anthropology; organizing presentations with speakers who are scholars and researchers from RMIT University; and publishing joint scientific journals. He proposed signing an official cooperation document between the two sides in the future.
Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh agreed with Dr. Tan Boon Hwee's opinions. The school committed to soon completing the necessary procedures to sign a bilateral cooperation document. The Cooperation and Development Office will be the focal point between the two sides.

RMIT is consistently ranked in the top 10 universities in Australia for research quality and in the top 100 in the world in the fields of: Business and Management, Accounting and Finance, Communication and Media, Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems, Pharmacy and Pharmacology. RMIT International University Vietnam was officially established in 2001 and began offering programs at its campus in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2004, the school established a second campus in the capital city of Hanoi.
