Thursday - September 14, 2017 03:07

On September 16, 2017, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will hold the Opening Ceremony of the 2017-2018 academic year with the participation of all staff, lecturers, students and trainees of all courses. In particular, in this event, students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will have the opportunity to interact with Associate Professor, Dr. Le Quan - Vice President of VNU on the topic of "Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship".

The exchange program aims to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit of the school's students, focusing on providing knowledge about entrepreneurship, providing a vision of the strengths of students in the Social Sciences and Humanities when starting a business. Through this, students will be aware of their own strengths and weaknesses and learn from the experiences of successful startup models in Vietnam and the world.

In addition, students also had the opportunity to interact with successful alumni, including: Mr. Le Thanh Binh (Director of Tam Duc Phat International Joint Stock Company, Deputy Director of the Center for Conservation of Vietnam Kite Cultural Heritage, former student of K38 International Studies), Mr. Hoang Quoc Quyen (Deputy General Director of Viettel Military Telecommunications Company, former student of K47 Tourism Studies), Ms. Nhu Thi Ngan (General Director of Hanoi Tourism Investment Company, former student of K48 Tourism Studies).

Right now, many questions have been sent to the guests about a topical social issue that is also a top concern of young people today. The questions are quite diverse, from going into the concept of startups, benefits of startups, conditions for startups, national policies on startups... to specific concerns such as: at what age should you start a business; what to do when you have an idea but lack investment capital; how to find a unique and different startup idea; what skills are important for startups; how can students of Social Sciences and Humanities start a business from their own specialized knowledge; advantages of students of Social Sciences and Humanities when starting a business; what support does the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and VNU provide for students in startup activities... We respectfully invite teachers and students to attend to have the opportunity to listen and exchange information on the above topic.

  • Time: 8:00 a.m. September 16, 2017 (Saturday).
