This activity is part of the student exchange agreement signed between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Showa Women's University. Four female student teachers from Showa Women's University are studying Japanese Language Education. During the first week, they will observe classes and assist in teaching; in the second week, they will be divided into two pairs to directly teach courses in the Department of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies. For its part, the Faculty of Oriental Studies also sends 3-5 students annually to study and conduct research at Showa Women's University.
At the reception, Professor Pham Quang Minh extended a warm welcome to the Japanese female students. Having visited Showa Women's University himself, the Rector expressed his admiration for the campus's scale and the research and teaching activities in Vietnamese Studies conducted there. The Rector wished the Japanese female students success in their internship at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and hoped for continued practical cooperation between the two sides in the future. On behalf of the University, the Rector also presented internship certificates and commemorative gifts to the female students.

Showa Women's University is a private university founded in 1920 in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. It comprises two graduate schools: the School of Languages and the School of Life Sciences, and five undergraduate schools: the School of Humanities and Cultures, the School of International Studies, the School of Humanities and Human Sciences, the School of Environmental and Human Life Sciences, and the School of Global Business. The university also houses other research centers and institutes such as the Institute for Modern Education, the Institute for Project Training, and the Institute for Women's Health Sciences.
