Receiving the delegation of Naresuan University (Thailand)

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, a leading institution in training and research in Social Sciences and Humanities in Vietnam. Every year, the University sends students and lecturers to study and research at universities in Thailand. Among the University's more than 300 official international partners, there are Thai universities such as Chukalongkon, Mahidol, Thamasat, Chiang Mai, Bangsomdejchaopraya Rajabhat. The University's Faculty of International Studies has successfully trained two masters in International Relations from Thailand. The Rector hopes that the two sides will strengthen cooperation through areas such as organizing international conferences, exchanging students and lecturers, and implementing joint training programs.

In response, Associate Professor Dr. Wichian Intasi thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the warm welcome. He said that the Faculty of Social Sciences of Naresuan University has four undergraduate majors: Psychology, History, Political Science and Public Administration, Sociology and Ethnology. In addition, there are master's majors in Social Development, Political Science, Southeast Asian Studies and two doctoral majors: Social Development, Southeast Asian Studies. Therefore, the two sides have many similarities to build and develop cooperation. Naresuan University also wishes to send students, trainees and lecturers to visit and practice in our country.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will create the best conditions to welcome Thai students and trainees. The Rector also introduced some outstanding training cooperation models of the University with foreign partners such as Stirling University (UK), Busan University (Korea), Free University of Berlin (Germany) for Naresuan University to refer to. In addition, the Rector emphasized the importance of international students in maintaining bilateral cooperation.

Naresuan University is a public university in Phitsanulok Province, Northern Thailand. Naresuan University was established as a separate university on July 29, 1990. The university offers more than 58 undergraduate and 55 graduate programs in various fields such as Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Social Sciences. Every year, 15 students from Naresuan University come to study Vietnamese language and culture at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
