The main content of the meeting between the two leaders is: focusing on discussing the plan to organize an international conference jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Institute for Strategic Studies (Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam), the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (Sweden), and the FriedRich Ebert Stiftung Foundation. The conference theme is: "Peacekeeping in the new context". The conference is expected to take place in April 2014.

It is known that after the workshop, a training program will be organized for officials of the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Public Security, research institutes, universities, etc.
