The delegation included Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department) and Mr. Pham Huy Cuong (Deputy Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department, Secretary of the Youth Union), along with representatives from the Standing Committee of the Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Student Association.

Over 120 gifts were distributed to Vietnamese and international students currently residing in the Me Tri dormitory. While the material gifts were small, the spiritual value was immense. The caring words, inquiries, and advice from the teachers helped the students feel warmer and more at ease, allowing them to focus on their studies during the Lunar New Year holiday away from home.

Previously, on December 30, 2013, the Department of External Relations and International Training Cooperation, in coordination with the Department of Politics and Student Affairs and the Youth Union – Student Association of the university, visited and extended New Year greetings to Chinese and Vietnamese students living in Hacinco Student Village. During the meeting, the teachers inquired about and encouraged the foreign students to study hard despite living far from home and not being able to celebrate the New Year with their families. Representatives of the Chinese students also expressed their gratitude for the university's concern and wished the teachers a Happy New Year.
