Exchange with lecturers and students of Mae Fah Luang University

On January 14, 2013, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted a reception and exchange with a delegation of staff, lecturers and students from Mae Fah Luang University (Thailand) led by Dr. Sirirung Wongsakul - Lecturer of the Faculty of Technology - Agriculture.

This visit of the delegation to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi is part of the ASEAN Camp program to exchange experiences with lecturers and students from ASEAN countries.

Attending the meeting were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal of the School, representatives of the Youth Union and Student Association of the School.

On behalf of the school's leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation from Mae Fah Luang University (Thailand) visiting the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh emphasized: Thailand is a strategic partner of Vietnam and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has had good cooperative relations with many universities in Thailand: Mahidol, Chulalongkon, Silpakorn...

At the exchange, staff, lecturers and students of the two schools had the opportunity to meet and share experiences in activities: studying, researching, organizing extracurricular programs...

Mae Fah Luang University was established in September 1998, under the Royal Charter of Thailand, as a public, autonomous university. Located in the north of Thailand, using English as the main language of teaching and learning at all levels, the University currently has about 11,000 students, 33 undergraduate programs, 26 master's programs, 15 doctoral programs in the fields of social sciences, science and technology. In particular, all programs are taught in English. Currently, Mae Fah Luang University has more than 400 international students from over 23 countries around the world studying at the University.

This exchange program between the two schools is of great significance in bringing ASEAN students from everywhere closer together to share professional knowledge.
