Reception of the Development Research Center of the Government and People of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China)

At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan sent greetings to the delegation of the Center for Government and People Development Research (CRD) of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The Vice President said that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has international relations with many Chinese partners, including universities in Guangxi such as Guangxi University, Guangxi University of Science and Technology, and Guangxi University for Nationalities. The school hopes to carry out practical cooperation with the other side.

Ms. Thuong Na Hong expressed her honor to be present at a prestigious training institution in Vietnam such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. She said that the Center for Research and Development of the People's Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region visited Vietnamese universities to learn about proposals and aspirations for economic, trade and production cooperation. In addition, the Center wanted to exchange ideas on the construction of an economic cooperation zone between Dongxing, China and Mong Cai, Vietnam, based on ideas on import and export policies. She proposed that the two sides co-organize scientific seminars and conferences on the above topics.

Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the cooperation ideas of Ms. Thuong Na Hong. The Vice President shared that the University is willing to send experts, economic and policy researchers to participate in academic events. These activities will contribute to providing ideas and recommendations for economic cooperation between Guangxi and the northern provinces of Vietnam. The similarities between the two sides and the two countries are a good premise to promote bilateral cooperation.

The Government and People Development Research Center is an agency directly under the government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The center's functions are to conduct market research, propose comprehensive and comprehensive policies and strategies for the expansion, reform, and socio-economic development of the government and people of the entire region; to study and resolve the advantages and difficulties in socio-economic development between the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and other countries; to study the forms of economic development of the region; and to propose opinions for the policies of the government and the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region.
