The conference acknowledged the positive results in the University's graduate enrollment in 2018. Through two rounds of entrance exams, 413 graduate students and 50 doctoral students were admitted to the University's training majors. In the context of general difficulties in graduate enrollment in recent years, the University's graduate enrollment and training achievements have made practical contributions to the development of graduate training activities at Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Therefore, the requirement to modernize, standardize and improve the efficiency of postgraduate work needs to be promoted and accelerated in the coming time. To do this, each working unit must be proactive and actively improve its work, always move to innovate and improve the quality of training. The school identifies 2019 as a pivotal year in the goal of standardizing postgraduate training with specific activities and tasks. The Training Department continues to expand the reform of management processes and simplify procedures: a single set of documents from admission to graduation; a single card for all library and banking activities, etc.; upgrade postgraduate training management software; handbook regulations and professional training for postgraduate assistants; continue to expand the "one-stop" profile model for students and graduate students; apply anti-plagiarism software to review theses and dissertations before official defense, etc.
