[Video] "Raising awareness and proactiveness among students in participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance"

At the recent seminar "Raising Awareness and Proactive Participation of Students in Social Insurance, Health Insurance, and Unemployment Insurance," organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) in collaboration with the Vietnam Social Insurance (VSI), many useful pieces of information about social insurance were shared with students, such as: From 2021, students are covered 100% of inpatient treatment costs nationwide. In cases where students do not present complete documentation for medical examinations and treatment, the health insurance fund will directly reimburse them at the social insurance agency within the scope and benefit levels as prescribed. Students who have participated for 5 consecutive years or more will receive higher health insurance benefits. At the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the percentage of students participating in health insurance in the 2018-2019 academic year reached 98%. The university always pays close attention to disseminating and educating students about social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies and laws.
