Implementing the plan to establish the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Professor, Doctor, People's Teacher Nguyen Van Khanh, Rector of the University, delivered a speech giving guidance.

The first draft of the magazine is expected to be completed on August 20th. Following this, the school will apply for an ISSN certificate and publish approximately 1000 copies in early October, coinciding with the school's 70th anniversary.

Presiding over the meeting, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh emphasized that the early implementation and publication of the first issue of the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is a very important task. Accordingly, the scientific research department needs to contact the Vietnam National University, Hanoi as soon as possible to obtain guidance on organizing the journal's activities.

Organizationally: The Rector instructed the Scientific Research Department to coordinate with the Human Resources Department to prepare the operational regulations for the Board of Directors' approval, including regulations on format, funding, operational procedures, organization, submission of papers, peer review, etc.

Regarding personnel: The Organization Department is contacting the VNU Organization Board to expedite the appointment of the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor-in-Chief. Accordingly, the Rector has directed that the Head of the Editorial Board should be unified with the Head of the Journal Department. In addition, additional personnel will be assigned, including two editors, one administrative assistant, and one typesetting technician. The Scientific Research Department will coordinate with the Organization Department to develop a specific plan for submission to the Board of Directors. Initially, the activities will utilize personnel from the Scientific Management Department and human resources staff from the faculties.

Regarding facilities, as directed by the Principal, room 708 is planned to be used as the magazine office, and additional necessary equipment such as printers, scanners, fax machines, telephones, and cameras will be added.

Regarding the financial plan: We propose funding for the publication of two issues in the third and fourth quarters of 2015. Simultaneously, we propose transferring the Social Sciences and Humanities journal from the Vietnam National University Hanoi journal to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities journal for continued editing and implementation. Furthermore, the Research Department proposes procedures for obtaining a seal, opening domestic and foreign currency accounts.
