Announcement of the appointment of the new Dean's Board for the Faculty of Management Science.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University, along with representatives of the leadership of various units, former leaders, and faculty members, students, and trainees of the Faculty of Management Science.

On behalf of the University's Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim presented the decisions of the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities appointing: Dr. Dao Thanh Truong as Head of the Faculty of Management Science for the term 2015 – 2020; Ms. Nguyen Nhu Ha and Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi as Deputy Heads of the Faculty of Management Science for the same term as the Head of the Faculty.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim acknowledged and commended the contributions of the previous Dean's Board, while emphasizing the mission of the new Board to continue training high-quality management human resources for the country to organize, manage, exploit, and utilize the nation's resources. Over 13 years of formation and development, the Faculty of Management Science has met the requirements for training management human resources in the era of industrialization, modernization, and international integration of the country.

On behalf of the new Dean's Office, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong expressed gratitude to the Party Committee and the University's Board of Directors for their continued attention and trust; and deep appreciation to the previous Dean's Office and the enthusiastic support of all faculty members in the Department for their scientific work. The new Dean reviewed the achievements of the Department over the past 10 years and outlined the key tasks of the Department of Management Science in the new term, including the plan to open a bachelor's degree program.Public Policy sector;Master's degreeHuman resource managementand prepare the conditions for building the program.Doctor of Management Science;Develop short-term training programs such as:Skills in building and developing brands, risk management skills, human resource management skills in businesses, etc.

The Faculty of Management Science at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was established by a decision of the Director of Hanoi National University in 2006, formerly the Department of Management Science established in 2002. To date, the Faculty has trained 13 cohorts of Bachelor's degree students in Management Science (both standard and high-quality programs) with 1764 students, and 20 postgraduate cohorts in Science and Technology Management with 390 Master's degree holders. The Faculty is also honored to be the first unit in Vietnam to train PhDs in Science and Technology Management and is one of five units of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities assigned the task of training high-quality Bachelor's degree students.

Furthermore, the Faculty of Management Science collaborates on research and training with many domestic and international organizations such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Intellectual Property Office, the Copyright Office, the University of Toulouse - Republic of France, the Royal University of Education - Thailand, etc.
