Attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa – Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and several leaders from the University of Natural Sciences.
In accordance with the Regulations on Admission to Regular Undergraduate Programs issued with Decision No. 967/QD – VNU dated March 18, 2015, and Guidance No. 1002/HD – VNU dated March 20, 2015, on the examination and admission process for regular undergraduate programs in 2015, VNU has been actively implementing preparatory activities for the 2015 University Entrance Examination for Regular Undergraduate Programs. Based on the number of registered candidates and the actual conditions of each unit, VNU has made an urgent decision to assign units to be in charge of examination clusters and to assign responsibilities to units for developing detailed plans for organizing the Examination for the Competency Assessment.
Accordingly, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organized two exam sessions in May and August at 9 exam clusters nationwide. Hanoi had 3 clusters with 32,690 candidates at 11 exam locations. Cluster 2 included 4 exam locations: the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU, the University of Science, FPT College of Practical Training, and Thang Long University. Of these 4 locations, the University of Science was primarily responsible.
During the meeting, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities reported on the preparation and organization of the May 2015 university-level competency assessment exam, including: work completed, work underway, and assignment of tasks.
Accordingly, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has ensured the completion of 10 out of 15 assigned tasks. The remaining five tasks are issues that need further discussion and agreement with the University of Natural Sciences.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reached an agreement on the remaining issues, ensuring a safe and high-quality exam on May 30th and 31st.

Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa – Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – responded to the University of Natural Sciences regarding the installation of backup power lines and the preparation of generators in case of power outages during the exam period.
