The University of Social Sciences and Humanities won the A prize at the Festival of Revolutionary Song Propaganda Groups.

The three performances by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, including "The Flame of Youth at 20," "The Song of Ho Chi Minh," and "The Homeland Calls My Name," were all performed powerfully, in keeping with the spirit of the program: praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, and Hanoi National University.

The song "The Flame of Twenty Years" by composer Thanh Binh, with its lyrics and accompanying dance, recreated the image of the female hero Dang Thuy Tram, giving the feeling that a youthful flame for independence, freedom, and building a prosperous nation has burned continuously within Dang Thuy Tram and every young generation of Vietnam. The musical piece "The Song of Ho Chi Minh" by composer Ewan MacColl was performed by a male vocal group of officials with powerful and resolute voices, affirming the will and contributions of Ho Chi Minh – the great leader of the Vietnamese nation. Meanwhile, the final performance, the song "The Homeland Calls My Name," progressed from gentle to intense and powerful, affirming the determination to protect maritime sovereignty and the fervent patriotism.

Not only did they achieve top results, but the two performances "The Flame of Youth at 20" and "The Song of Ho Chi Minh" were also among the 12 performances selected to be showcased at the cultural event celebrating the 5th Congress of the Party Committee of Hanoi National University, term 2015-2020, at Hanoi National University on May 26th.

The program was attended by many distinguished guests from the Central Youth Union, the Hanoi Youth Union, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and its member units. Besides the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Revolutionary Song Propaganda Group Festival also included nine other units under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, all of whom received encouragement awards.
