The first working day of the new year, the 6th day of the lunar calendar, in the gentle golden sunshine of spring, the yard of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was extremely fresh! More than 400 cadres, lecturers, workers and students of the school gathered in full force for the warm and harmonious spring meeting. The firm handshakes, bright smiles, warm and sincere wishes of the teachers combined with the green of young leaves, green buds and red of bright flowers created a truly spring scene!
Sending New Year wishes to staff and lecturers, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the University advised: "In the new spring, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities must determine innovation: training must be interdisciplinary/cross-disciplinary; accompany students; science aims for great achievements; better university management; behavior must comply with principles; Humanistic people always behave sincerely; international training must aim for "passports" for students to go out into the world".
The Year of the Dragon 2024 has been decided by the collective leadership and management team of the School to be a pivotal year to realize the philosophy of "academics as the foundation - modernity as the trend". Striving to excellently complete the key targets and tasks of the year will simultaneously create "position" and "strength" for the School to aim for many important events in 2025: the 29th Party Congress, celebrating the 80th anniversary of tradition and 30 years of establishment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.
