Attending the meeting were Prof. Vu Duong Ninh (Chairman of the School's Retired Teachers Association), Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh (Chairman of the School's Trade Union), Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy (Head of the Administration and General Affairs Department), and members of the Executive Committee of the School's Retired Teachers Association.
In a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan extended his greetings and best wishes for good health to the retired teachers on Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20th. The Rector of the University reviewed some of the achievements of the faculty, staff, and students of the University during the 2020-2021 academic year.
Rector Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed that the University always appreciates and acknowledges the contributions of the Association of Retired Teachers. The University's Board of Directors hopes to receive advice and insights from educators, scientists, and staff members of the Association regarding the development of the University and Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Board of Directors will continue to support and assist the activities of the Association of Retired Teachers through the University's Trade Union.
At the meeting, Professor Vu Duong Ninh (Chairman of the Retired Teachers' Association of the University) summarized the Association's activities during the 2020-2021 academic year. Over the past year, the Association successfully organized activities to care for and support its members; organized visits to historical sites in Lang Son and Hung Yen; and held cultural and artistic exchanges between members and artists. Notably, the Association collaborated with the University's Trade Union and Vietnam National University, Hanoi to administer COVID-19 vaccines to 200 members.
Professor Vu Duong Ninh, on behalf of all members, expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee of the University's Trade Union for their continuous support and assistance in successfully organizing the Association's regular activities. He also expressed his joy and pride in the achievements made, along with his confidence that the University's Board of Directors will continue to promote the role and position of the University within the Vietnam National University, Hanoi in particular and the higher education system in general.

In the coming period, the Association of Retired Faculty Members of the University will continue to inherit and build upon the achievements of the past, continue to organize meaningful activities appropriate to the new situation, and at the same time promote the spirit and intellect of all members, contributing to the development of the University and VNU.
