Announcement of Conclusion at the August 2025 meeting

On August 4, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a School meeting. Principal Hoang Anh Tuan chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were the Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Principals, Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of Party cells, Heads, Deputy Heads of units, Chief Accountant, Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine and leaders of mass organizations.
After listening to the opinions exchanged and discussed at the Conference on the following contents: (1) Report on the implementation of work in July 2025 and the Work Plan for August 2025; (2) Report on the implementation of the Principal's Conclusion at the Conference on work in July 2025; (3) Exchange and discussion of units and functional departments; (4) Opinions of Vice Principals; the Principal concluded:
1. With the Conference of Officials, Employees and Summary of the 2024-2025 school year,It is recommended that units pay attention to the content of the exchange, avoid formalities, and focus on key issues of the units. For the Specialized High School, it is necessary to focus on discussing key points on quality improvement, internationalization, comprehensive resource development, and coordination with training, financial, and organizational focal points to develop and implement. It is recommended that members of the Board of Directors pay attention to exchanging/disseminating general information about the School's key tasks to unit officials.
2. Staff organization:Continue to carry out tasks such as reviewing academic titles; recruiting; completing and issuing documents after restructuring.
3. Training and communication:
- Closely follow the roadmap and carry out full and strict enrollment work, ensuring the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU.
- Continue to develop short-term programs, especially those related to administrative reform that training units have not yet proposed, targeting two new target groups: a) programs for students; b) programs for working people, ensuring completion for operation from August 2025. Recommend that functional departments closely coordinate and support training units in implementing administrative processes and procedures.
- Continue to complete the program adjustments according to the plan, paying special attention to the issue of internationalization (courses, lecturers, student exchange/credit recognition, etc.). Heads of training units are requested to pay attention to the issue of internationalization in the development of course modules of the major/specialized knowledge block; proactively clarify the number of courses, and create conditions for credit recognition for students. Departments related to international internships/training are requested to develop programs, plans, and information early so that students can proactively arrange their schedules and register to participate (Programs/Plans will be announced no later than December 2025), and at the same time be flexible in organizing and arranging activities in the internship/practice schedule.
- Assign the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training as the focal point, the Communications Department (Training Department) to coordinate with Hanoi Radio and Television Station to implement the production of a documentary film to celebrate the 80th anniversary of tradition and 30th anniversary of the School's establishment.
4. Student work:
- Assign the Student Affairs Department to urgently research and innovate the admission process in the spirit of innovation and efficiency; coordinate with relevant units to review and improve the collection/keeping of student records in the spirit of flexibility, creating favorable conditions for students and ensuring compliance with regulations/rules.
- Continue to discuss plans for alumni, ensuring substance and effectiveness for the development of the School.
5. Science:
- Urgently deploy key scientific tasks, considering them as part of the implementation of Resolution 55-NQ/TW. To ensure the balance of long-term KHCH strategy, the School will order strategic orientations (Top-Down) in addition to receiving individual proposals from individual scientists (Bottom-Up); Pay special attention to ensuring the number of policy consultants according to the assigned targets, while improving the quality of consultants to make practical and effective contributions, enhancing the position and role of the School in serving the community and developing the country.
- Well organize key scientific activities in August 2025 such as seminars, Library publications, textbooks, etc., moving towards translation and documentation activities.
6. Administration - Infrastructure Improvement:
- For administrative staff management: Assign the HCTH Department to deploy integration into the general management software, install equipment to be ready for trial operation from August 15, 2025. Request the Inspection and Legal Department and the Personnel Organization to coordinate in developing regulations/sanctions in August 2025, to start official operation from September 2025.
- Speed ​​up renovation and repair activities, ensuring they are basically completed before August 15, 2025 to prepare for the new school year (especially buildings E, G, and yard E so as not to affect upcoming events/activities); Update new State documents and regulations, ensuring bidding and purchasing activities are always carried out in accordance with regulations.
8. Finance:
- Assign the Research and Development Department to coordinate with the Planning and Finance Department to develop an action plan to use the funding source according to Decree 109/ND-CP, also to serve future inspection/audit.
- Request relevant departments to discuss and propose solutions for scholarships of Specialized High School in the context of no longer collecting tuition fees.
9. Other tasks:Implement according to the issued plan.
The Board of Directors is requested to regularly urge and direct work areas, strengthen inspection work, and report to the Principal on the implementation of plans and tasks in the assigned areas. The functional departments are requested to proactively implement and ensure time, especially for key activities.
Heads of units are requested to widely inform and implement the Principal's conclusions at monthly meetings seriously, fully and on schedule.
