Cultivating the National Garden of Learning – a New Year's wish of the staff and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

In the warm spring weather of the Year of the Snake (2015), the faculty, staff, students, and pupils of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, respectfully offered incense at the Temple of Literature - National University.
 
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan – Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, along with faculty and staff of the university, respectfully offered incense at Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam on the morning of February 8, 2025.
Offering incense at the Temple of Literature - National University at the beginning of spring has become a cherished tradition of the faculty and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, for many decades.
The Temple of Literature – National University is a historical site that commemorates the glorious tradition of studiousness of our ancestors, reflecting the aspirations of scholars to reach the pinnacle of knowledge, as well as the hopes and expectations of the court and the people for intellectuals. The messages that our forefathers left behind at the Temple of Literature – National University still retain their value in terms of education, training, the appreciation of intellectuals, and the duties and responsibilities of intellectuals towards the people and the country.
With profound respect, we offer this eulogy to the revered ancestors and sages who founded the university, and to the emperors who contributed to the construction of the Temple of Literature. We also respectfully dedicate it to the scholar Chu Van An and other distinguished Confucian scholars who cultivated the garden of national learning. The entire leadership, staff, and faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities pledge to cultivate virtue and talent, integrate with the nation and the times, build a strong foundation, and uphold national and humanistic values.

These values ​​continue to be nurtured, contributing to the development of national culture and culture, and fostering the nation's vital resources, thus living up to the legacy of the former Imperial Academy.
