The outstanding young face of USSH hopes to promote Vietnamese culture and people through tourism.

Pursue career goals from an early age.
Thanks to the encouragement of his high school homeroom teacher, the support of his family, and his own recognition of his future potential, Anh Tư decided on his field of study early on and remained steadfast in his choice.

A male final-year student said: “When choosing my university preferences after the high school graduation exam, I applied to all four programs in Hotel Management. Luckily, I got accepted into my first choice and am studying at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH).”
With enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge, Anh Tư matured day by day thanks to the knowledge he accumulated at university. Not only did he gain more skills and understanding of society and nature, but the scientific environment also helped him hone his thinking abilities. "In particular, scientific thinking has helped me improve my specialized thinking," the student emphasized.

After nearly four years of studying and training, Anh Tư took on a leadership role and held a key position in the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Tourism Studies. Aware of his responsibilities, the male student continuously strived to lead the student movement of the faculty, creating many activities and opportunities for students to integrate, develop skills, and gain experience.

Having the opportunity to participate in the "Vietnam-Japan Student Exchange Program at Rikkyo University, Japan" has given Anh Tu many valuable experiences. The student shared: "This is the first time I've set foot in another country to study and experience cultural exchange in the beautiful land of cherry blossoms. This is also an opportunity for me and the other students to promote the beauty and people of Vietnam to international friends."
Outstanding Young Person at the Grassroots Level in 2023
As proof of his efforts, Anh Tu recently received the title of Outstanding Young Person at the grassroots level in 2023 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Sharing his feelings upon receiving the prestigious award, the student emotionally said: “The moment my name was called, I felt incredibly proud. For me personally, as well as for all the students, the title of Outstanding Young Person of the entire university is a great honor and a prestigious title. This is not only a recognition and commendation of our excellent academic and training achievements, but also creates motivation for future generations of students to continue participating in more activities that benefit the community and society.”

Mr. Tư was awarded the title of Outstanding Young Person at the grassroots level in 2023 by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Thanks to the companionship, support, and close collaboration of the school, teachers, and senior students, Anh Tu was able to achieve his personal goals. This prestigious title serves as encouragement and a reminder for him to strive even harder in his studies, training, and career development to live up to the trust placed in him by the school and his teachers.

To gain a solid understanding of professional knowledge and practical skills, Anh Tư often optimizes his time to gain work experience at hotels to accumulate the most hands-on knowledge. In addition, he mentioned that he also works part-time at a technology company, through which he has gathered a lot of knowledge about technology and seen new directions in combining technology and tourism.”

To maximize efficiency in all his work, Anh Tu always emphasizes, maintains, and develops the quality of "attitude." With a serious attitude towards learning, a thirst for knowledge, and active participation in Youth Union and Student Association activities, along with respect for superiors and humility towards subordinates, this male student has achieved many outstanding accomplishments: receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association for his contributions to the Association's work and student movements in the 2022-2023 academic year; achieving the title of "5 Good Students" at the Hanoi National University level in the 2022-2023 academic year,...

The male student emphasized: “When you have a positive attitude, you can remain positive and confident in any situation. But, as the saying goes, 'ripe rice bows its head' – you shouldn't become arrogant or stop striving because of your achievements. During my remaining time at university, I will strive to improve my shortcomings so that I can continue to contribute my youthful energy to the Youth Union and Student Association movements, pursue my passions, and contribute my intellect to the development of tourism in my hometown.”
As a final-year student, although no longer holding a key role in the Youth Union and Student Association, Anh Tư always closely follows and supports the activities and movements organized by the faculty and the university. For him, studying is very important, but if one only focuses on studying and forgets their role as a young person, needing to contribute their youthful energy to the community and society, then this youth will not be truly complete.

With the desire to contribute to promoting Vietnamese culture and people to international friends through tourism development, let's let international friends see the image of Vietnamese students as talented, enthusiastic, and dynamic!” - Anh Tư shared.
