1. Purpose and research objects of the thesis

Research purpose

To study the changes in women's livelihoods in the study area before and after the conversion of agricultural land use purposes. To analyze the use of livelihood assets in women's livelihood strategies when their agricultural land is converted to another purpose. At the same time, to evaluate the livelihood outcomes of women in the study area in the context of agricultural land use conversion.

Research object

Livelihood transformation of women in agricultural land use conversion areas.

2. Research methods used

Document analysis method: relevant documents and papers

In-depth interview method: in-depth interview with 30 people

Sociological survey method: conducted 350 questionnaires

3. Main results and conclusions

3.1. Main results

- Analyze and compare changes (before and after conversion of agricultural land use purposes) in women's livelihood assets in the research area, including: natural capital, physical capital, financial capital, human capital and social capital.

- Analyze and compare changes (before and after conversion of agricultural land use purposes) in women's livelihood strategies in the research area, including: purely agricultural livelihoods, mixed livelihoods, and non-agricultural livelihoods.

- Analyze and compare changes (before and after conversion of agricultural land use purposes) in women's livelihood outcomes in the research area, including: income, stability, and vulnerability of livelihoods.

3.2. Conclusion

The first,The process of converting agricultural land use purposes in the study area takes place rapidly and continuously.

Monday, there is a clear change in women's livelihood assets in the study area.

Tuesday,There is flexible transformation of livelihood capital.

Wednesday,Livelihood asset transformation has a major impact on women's livelihood strategies in agricultural land use conversion areas.

Thursday,Regarding livelihood outcomes, women's income in the study area increased but was unstable, and women's jobs here were diverse but not sustainable.

Firstly,the conversion of agricultural land in the studied area takes place at a rapid and continuous pace.

Secondly, there is a significant transformation of women's livelihoods in the studied area.

Third,the transformation of livelihood resources is flexible.

Fourthly,the transformation of livelihood assets has a great impact on the livelihood strategies of women in the converted agricultural land area.

Fifthly,Regarding economic outcomes, in the studied area, women got increased but unsecured income, diverse but unstable jobs.
