Summary of new results of the thesis: Based on previous studies, we determined our research direction to study the spiritual life of the Koho people in Lam Dong (the Koho is an ethnic minority community that has received research attention from the fields of ethnology and anthropology; but from a sociological perspective, more systematic research is still needed) in the process of urbanization in two areas: Ta Nung commune and Lac Duong town, Da Lat, Lam Dong. This study of ours not only describes the current situation but also delves into the spiritual life of the Koho people in the context of urbanization in the two areas of Ta Nung commune and Lac Duong town, Lam Dong province (two areas with different urbanization rates, see the overview of the research area).
On the other hand, in this study, we stand on the perspective of urbanization theory, social change theory, cultural acculturation, and rational choice theory to study the spiritual life of the Koho people in three main contents: (1) The spiritual life of the Koho people through daily activities; (2) The spiritual life of the Koho people through cultural activities according to occasions; (3) The spiritual life of the Koho people through life cycle rituals (weddings, funerals). With the desire to study and analyze the current spiritual life of the Koho people in the two research areas in the contrast between rural and urban areas, and at the same time compare this situation in the past 10 years with retrospective questions, we analyze objective factors and demographic characteristics that affect the spiritual life of the Koho people in Lam Dong province from the perspective of sociology.

Based on previous research, we determined our research direction is the understanding of the spiritual life of the Koho people in Lam Dong (Koho is an ethnic minority community that has received interest in research from In the fields of ethnology and anthropology, while under the socialist vision, there is still a need for more systematic studies in the process of urbanization in the two localities of Ta Nung commune and Lac Duong town, Da Lat, Lam Dong. This study not only describes the current situation but also deeply studies the spiritual life of the Koho in the context of urbanization in the areas of Ta Nung commune and Lac Duong town, Lam Dong province (two localities). With different urbanization rates, see the overview of the study locality.
On the other hand, in this study we stand on the perspective of approaching urbanization theory, social change theory, cultural transformation, reasonable choice theory to understand the spiritual life of the Koho people in The three main contents are (1) The spiritual life of the Koho through daily activities; (2) The spiritual life of the Koho through cultural occasions; (3) The spiritual life of the Koho through the life cycle ritual (marriage, funeral), with the desire to understand and analyze the current state of the spiritual life of the Koho on two study locality in the in contrast between rural and urban locality, at the same time comparing this situation over the past 10 years with retrospective questions, we conduct an analysis of objective factors and demographic characteristics that affect life. The spirit of the Koho in Lam Dong province is the perspective of sociological science.
