11. Summary of new results of the thesis:

- Regarding research results: The thesis is the first scientific work to conduct a systematic and in-depth comparative study of Vietnamese and Indian magical fairy tales. The thesis has surveyed and analyzed 16 similar types of magical fairy tales, including 131 versions of Vietnamese and Indian stories in terms of structure and motif, summarized typical values, found similarities and differences, and explained the reasons for those similarities and differences.

- In terms of materials: The thesis has translated 30 magical Indian fairy tales from English to Vietnamese, helping readers understand more about Indian fairy tales, culture, country and people.

- In terms of research and teaching: The thesis has provided reference materials and teaching content for related subjects such as: Vietnamese Folklore, Indian Literature, Research on Folklore by Typology, Research on Comparative Literature in Universities.

- In terms of foreign affairs: The thesis compares Vietnamese and Indian fairy tales in the comparison of two cultures with practical significance, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding in the integration process for development.

-The research results of the thesis will contribute positively to the compilation of teaching materials on comparative literature, Vietnamese and Indian literature and folklore, providing useful reference materials for students, lecturers and researchers.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- Regarding to the research results: The thesis is the first scientific research to have the in-depth and systematic comparison of the magical fairy tales between Vietnamese and Indian. The thesis investigated and analyzed 16 similar types of miraculous fairy tales, including 131 stories of Vietnam and India in terms of structure and motif, generalized typical values, found out the similarities and differences, as well as explained the causes of such similarities and differences.

- In terms of materials: The thesis has translated from English into Vietnamese 30 Indian magical tales which supports readers to have more understanding about Indian fairy tales, culture, country and people.

- In terms of research and teaching: The thesis has provided references and teaching content for related subjects such as: Vietnamese Folk Literature, Indian Literature, and Folk Literature Studies in terms of type method, Comparative literature research in university.

- In terms of foreign relations: The thesis compares Vietnamese and Indian fairy tales in the comparison of two cultures with the practical significance, contributing to enhance mutual understanding in the integration and development process.
