  • Conclude

After the research and implementation of the project."The Vietnam Workers' Party led the movement for the Third Force from 1969 to 1975.The graduate student has solved the following main problems:

Clarify the historical conditions and circumstances that influenced the Vietnamese Labor Party's policy on mobilizing the third force. Systematize and analyze the Party's policies and viewpoints on mobilizing the third force during the period 1969-1975; the Party's understanding of the third force, its role, and the methods of mobilizing this force to participate in the common struggle of the nation.

Objectively reconstruct the process by which the Vietnam Labor Party directed the mobilization and engagement of the third force during the period 1969-1975; the struggles and exemplary figures of the third force in the major cities of the South; the achievements of the implementation of this direction, and the contributions of the third force to the resistance war against the US and for national salvation during the period 1969-1975.

Clearly identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Party in leading and directing the mobilization of the third force during the period 1969-1975.

The Party's leadership and guidance in mobilizing and enlisting the participation of the third force in the struggle against the US and for national liberation demonstrated many advantages, such as: recognizing the "common voice" in the third force's struggle with the resistance led by the Party, namely the goals of peace, democracy, neutrality, and national reunification. This was the most important basis for the Party to mobilize and enlist the voice of the third force, adding strength to the national resistance; devising diverse forms of mobilization and methods to maximize the influence of the third force; and providing close, timely guidance and close coordination with the Party's organizational system in major cities throughout the South.

Besides its advantages, the Party's leadership and guidance in mobilizing and winning over the third force during the 1969-1975 period also revealed some limitations. In the early stages of the campaign, the Party's understanding of the third force and its role was not yet fully complete, leading to inappropriate mobilization methods; at times, the mobilization measures were slow to change and no longer suitable to the practical situation, resulting in unsatisfactory outcomes; while the role of the third force was correctly assessed, its contributions to the struggle against the US and for national liberation were not adequately recognized.

Several important lessons were drawn, including: 1) Leadership and guidance policies must closely follow and adapt to the new circumstances and requirements of the practical situation, and be timely; 2) Emphasis should be placed on training cadres directly involved in mobilization work; 3) A thorough understanding of the characteristics of the target groups for mobilization is essential to ensure both the Party's leadership and guidance, while maximizing the strength of all forces, creating a combined force in the struggle for the common revolutionary cause of the entire nation.

- To clarify the circumstances, historical factors which affected the

process of enacting Vietnam Labor Party's instruction in Third force mobilization campaign. Systematically, analytically Vietnam Labor Party's instruction and perspective from Third force mobilization campaign in period 1969 – 1975; the process of Vietnam Labor Party's recognition about Third force, the role of Third force and the method of rising this force to get involved in national war.

- Restore in an objective way the process of Vietnam Labor Party equipped with concrete guidance to the Third force mobilization campaign and accumulate the force from 1969 to 1975; the struggles and typical persons from Third force in big cities in the south; the results from implementing the guidance, the Third force's contribution into Vietnam-American war for Independence in the period 1969 – 1975.

- Point out the achievements and limitations of this Party in the period of rising of Third force in the years 1969 - 1975.

The process of leadership, campaign guidance, and taking advantage of Third force in Vietnam-America war for Independence shows some advantages: seeing “common voice” in the struggle movement of the Third force with the resistance led by the Party, which is the goal of peace, democracy, neutrality and unification of the country. This is the most important foundation for the Party to mobilize, gain the voice of the Third force, strengthen the resistance of the whole nation; set out various forms of advocacy, how to conduct various advocacy to maximize the influence of Third force; it is close, timely and in close coordination with the party system in major cities throughout the South.

Besides the advantages, the process of leading, guiding the mobilization, taking advantage of the Third party in the period 1969 – 197, the Party also revealed the limitations. During the first part of the campaign, the Party's awareness of the third force and the role of the third force was not sufficient, leading to an inadequate motive for the movement; At times, advocacy measures were slow to change and no longer suitable with the practical situation, leading to low achievement; has appreciated the role of the Third force, but did not recognize the contribution of this force to the struggle against the US, saving the country.

Draw some important experiences such as: 1) Leadership and direction must be closed and suitable with the situation, with new requirements of the practical situation and timely; 2) To attach importance to the training of officials who directly involved in the campaign work; 3) Understanding the characteristics of the mobilized object to ensure the leadership and direction of the Party, while maximizing the strength of the forces, creating the combined strength in the fight for the.
