- The dissertation has contributed to analyzing and clarifying the research situation related to the topic "Martin Heidegger's philosophy and its contemporary significance".

- The dissertation clarified the conditions and prerequisites for the emergence of Martin Heidegger's philosophy, including his life and work as subjective factors; and the socio-economic and cultural conditions and ideological prerequisites as objective factors for the emergence of his philosophy.

- The dissertation systematically analyzed the fundamental contents of Martin Heidegger's philosophical thought, particularly ontology, ethics, and philosophy of language.

- The dissertation has clarified the contemporary significance of M. Heidegger's philosophical thought based on a critical evaluation and comparison from the standpoint of Marxism-Leninism. The dissertation attempts to identify the "rational core" and suggestive value of Martin Heidegger's philosophy for solving current practical problems in Vietnam.
