10. Summary of project results:
The mental health status of adolescents is an alarming issue in today's society. Adolescents encounter psychological difficulties that are manifested both internally (emotionally), externally (behaviorally) and functionally, but are not enough to diagnose a specific disorder and still need psychological support. The project has reviewed studies on psychological difficulties in adolescents in many aspects such as current situation, influencing factors, consequences, assessment methods, and appropriate treatment approaches.
Research results show that cognitive-behavioral therapy combined with mindfulness relaxation techniques helped adolescents improve their mood, manage risky self-cutting behavior, replace negative thoughts with helpful thoughts, and develop coping skills for future stressful situations.
11. Practical applicability: The project has contributed more evidence for the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in supporting adolescents with psychological difficulties from the results obtained in the process of theoretical research and practical clinical intervention. At the same time, the limitations and recommendations of the project also provide more information for practitioners to learn lessons to increase the effectiveness of future therapies.
