10. Summary of project results:
The project presented an overview of the world's research on social anxiety disorder. In the content of the project, the basic issues of social anxiety disorder were presented, including the concept, characteristics, causes, clinical characteristics and diagnostic criteria according to DSM-5. In addition, the project also presented the assessment and treatment methods, in which cognitive behavioral therapy was used as an intervention therapy throughout the treatment process. The intervention results showed that the client reduced the symptoms of social anxiety disorder and changed unhealthy perceptions, improving positive relationships. At the same time, the client was able to apply skills in emotional management, problem solving, goal setting as well as other issues in life.
11. Practical applicability: From the results obtained through the process of theoretical research and clinical practice, the project has contributed more evidence for the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in psychological intervention for social anxiety disorder. At the same time, the limitations and recommendations of the project also provide additional lessons and necessary information for practitioners to increase the effectiveness of future treatment.
