After researching the Philippines' foreign policy towards the United States from 2016-2023, the student has completed the objectives and tasks of the Thesis. A summary of some results is as follows:
In Chapter 1, the author pointed out and assessed the level of influence of the main factors (both internal and external) that influenced the policy choices of the two Philippine presidents towards the US in the period from 2016-2023.
In Chapter 2, the author presents the policy statements and implementation results of the Philippines' policy towards the US in the period from 2016-2023; pointing out the differences and continuity in the Philippines' policy towards the US under the two Philippine Presidents.
In chapter 3, the author presented the prospects of the Philippines-US bilateral relationship, providing analysis on the impact of this relationship on regional security issues, especially the East Sea issue. Based on clarifying the similarities and differences between Vietnam and the Philippines in their relations with the US, the author made policy suggestions for Vietnam in resolving relations with these partners.
12. Practical application:The research results of the thesis are good reference documents for the study of Philippines-US relations, providing scientific basis and some specific recommendations contributing effectively to Vietnam's foreign policy planning.
13. Further research directions:In the coming time, the author will continue to research issues related to the Philippines-US relationship and issues related to major power strategies in the region, affecting Vietnam's interests.
