10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis provides an overview of the basic content of Buddhist ethics as expressed through fundamental categories in Buddhist doctrine and precepts, and the value and role of Buddhist ethics for Vietnamese Buddhists in general. It also analyzes Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad, focusing on the following aspects: their formation process and identifying their characteristics, such as: Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad have a tradition of close ties to and always accompany the nation; they maintain and preserve the traditions of Vietnamese Buddhism alongside the characteristics of their host countries and maintain close relationships with Buddhism in Vietnam; and they have a high need for religious activities and community cohesion.
Based on theoretical and practical foundations, this thesis analyzes the impact of Buddhist ethics on Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad through various methods: Buddhist ethics influences Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad through many means, including traditional methods such as: through the Dharma teachings of monks and nuns at temples, religious activities at temples, and through the moral example of monks and nuns themselves. Another aspect is the impact through the self-cultivation of Buddhist followers. The manifestation of Buddhist ethical values for Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad is seen from three perspectives: personal ethics, family ethics, and social ethics of Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad.
From there, the thesis analyzes and points out several issues and offers recommendations for promoting Buddhist ethical values among Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad.

The findings of this thesis can be applied in practice to promote the ethical values of Buddhism for Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad in particular, and Vietnamese Buddhists in general.

On the basis of theory and practice, the thesis analyzes the ethics of Buddhism on Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad through methods of impact: Buddhist ethics impacts on Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad through many methods, including traditional methods such as: through Dharma preaching activities of monks and nuns at pagodas, religious activities at pagodas and through moral examples of monks and nuns. In another aspect, the impact by the self-cultivation method of Buddhists demonstrates Buddhist ethical values for Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad through three aspects: personal ethics, family ethics, and social ethics of Vietnamese Buddhists living abroad.
