Besides the introduction, conclusion, references, and appendices, the main body of the thesis is presented in three chapters: Chapter 1 clarifies the issues: the value of archival documents and the necessity of utilizing them to serve cultural diplomacy activities; an overview of the types, quantity, and content of archival documents currently preserved at archival institutions and agencies that can serve cultural diplomacy activities; and measures implemented by these agencies in the past to carry out cultural diplomacy activities. Chapter 2 introduces, analyzes, and evaluates the research subjects, forms of exploitation, and use of archival documents to serve cultural diplomacy activities in the past, aiming to identify successes and remaining problems in the exploitation and use of archival documents for cultural diplomacy activities.
