Summary of the results of the thesis: Based on the theory of narrative, the thesis has studied the art of narrative in To Hoai's novels in four aspects: the art of plot organization, the art of character building, the narrator, and the narrative language. Through the survey and analysis of the art of narrative in To Hoai's novels, we found that there is inheritance, development, and unity in To Hoai's art of narrative. These are simple plots but they are plots of life, simple and natural like everyday life. The characters are described in appearance and actions, thereby highlighting their personalities. The language in the novels is a language imbued with the "mass" character, everyday life close to the speech of the people. To Hoai deserves to be called a writer of "life". 11.
