Summary of thesis results: As a prominent destination in Quang Ninh, Cam Pha has always existed as a land rich in culture, possessing many advantages in topography and diverse ecosystems: tropical evergreen forest ecosystem, marine and coastal ecosystem, and blessed by nature with rare mineral water resources not found in every locality. Cam Pha is also home to a dense system of historical and cultural relics such as: Cua Ong Temple relic, the "Crossroads leading to Deo Nai mine" relic, the Cua Ong Coal Sorting Plant revolutionary historical relic, the Hang Nui Da Chong relic, the Vung Duc historical and scenic complex, the Mong Duong vertical shaft furnace historical and cultural relic... With such conditions for tourism development, Cam Pha has not yet truly surpassed its inherent potential. Where does the problem lie? This is the problem that this thesis addresses. Based on a synthesis of the results of analyzing the actual development of tourism in Cam Pha city from many aspects, the thesis has drawn conclusions and proposed a general action program for tourism development in the coming time as follows: improving the state management system for tourism; perfecting mechanisms and policies for tourism development; strengthening planning and planning management; strengthening tourism promotion and advertising; diversifying tourism products, creating unique tourism products; training and developing human resources for tourism; and developing in parallel with preserving and promoting values. Only in this way can tourism in Cam Pha in particular and Quang Ninh in general improve the quality of its products, attract more domestic and international tourists, extend their length of stay, and reinvest revenue from the tourism industry in the restoration and preservation of tourist areas, scenic spots, and historical and cultural relics, while contributing to greater socio-economic benefits for the province. To actively implement the tourism development action program in Cam Pha, closer guidance and attention from the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of Cam Pha city are needed in improving product quality, investing in tourism activities, encouraging and maintaining the development of traditional craft villages and handicraft products, and enhancing the quality of local traditional cultural festivals. On the other hand, there needs to be better coordination between the tourism industry and the people of Cam Pha, with tourism departments and other relevant departments and agencies... The thesis was conducted using field research methods, interviews with local people and tourists, systematized documents combined with fieldwork, which gradually answered the research questions posed at the beginning of the thesis. The author hopes that this first scientific work will be a valuable contribution to the tourism industry of Quang Ninh in general, and Cam Pha in particular, in the process of building and developing tourism here, transforming Cam Pha - Quang Ninh into a unique destination, a stopover point and an effective attraction for domestic and international tourists.

Summary of the findings of the thesis: Defining as an important place in Quang Ninh Province, Cam Pha City is known as a famous land-mark, where was given priorities by nature for its topography, bio-diversity, including ever-green tropical forest, marine and coastal eco system, mineral water resources…It is also known as a famous place with a range of historical relics such as Cua Ong temple, “the road to Deo Nai Coal mining”, Cua Ong Coal Processing Company, Da chong Cave, Vung Duc landscape and historical complex, Mong Duong underground ming historical relics. However, these potentials are not promoted as its existence. What are main issues? This thesis will be the answer. On the basis of summary of practical analysis results in Cam Pha City, several proposals for the tourism development action plan are addressed, including: improvement of the tourism administration management system; strengthen the legal documents and policies for tourism development; forwarding the planning; developing the promotion activities; diversifying the tourism products; training the human resources providing for tourism services according to the direction of sustainable development. These will be important steps to promote the tourism quality, attract domestic and international tourists as well as expanding duration stay of tourists to Cam Pha City in particular, Quang Ninh Province in general. The revenue from the non-smoke industry will be re-invested and rebuilt the tourism sites, historical relics and landscape, which contributed to the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh Province. In order to actively boost the tourism development action plan for Cam Pha city, a series of tasks have to be interested in, such as enhancing the quality of tourism services, investing software and hardware for tourism activity; Encourage and maintain the development of traditional trade village, handicrafts products as well as promoting the quality of traditional cultural festivals. Of course, the guidance of the Leaders of Quang Ninh Province and Cam Pha City is also an important for the implementation of the tourism development action plan. The other hands, the cooperation between the tourism industry and Cam Pha local people, tourism agencies and related departments have to rise for a success. The thesis is done by the different ways, including field-trips; interviewing local communities, visitors and systematization of documents are the best answers for the question, which raises from the beginning of the thesis. Hoping that, the thesis will be an essential resource, which contributes to the development of tourism of Quang Ninh Province in general, Cam Pha City in particular in the process of construction and development of tourism activity, which makes the Cam Pha City - Quang Ninh Province become an attractive destination for domestic and international visitors.
