Summary of thesis results: - In Chapter 1 of the thesis, the author identified and clarified the theoretical and methodological basis for studying the personality of Vietnamese people, including the basic viewpoints of Marxist-Leninist philosophy and the methodological principles of Marxist psychology. - In Chapter 2 of the thesis, the author analyzed and clarified the duality in some typical personality traits of Vietnamese people such as patriotism, valuing loyalty and friendship, valuing community, diligence, and eagerness to learn. The perspective of contradiction, applied for the first time in studying the duality in the personality of Vietnamese people, created a difference from previous studies in this field; the personality of Vietnamese people was viewed dialectically in the unity and transformation of opposing aspects. 11.
