Summary of the thesis results: In the thesis "Laughter in Tú Mỡ's Poetry," we construct a portrait of Tú Mỡ as a literary author worthy of study within the social context and literary situation of the 20th and early 21st centuries. Besides the Introduction and Conclusion, we aim to clarify three issues. Firstly, we provide a theoretical explanation of the concept of laughter, laughter in life and in literature, thereby highlighting the role of the poet Tú Mỡ in national literature. Secondly, we conduct a detailed and comprehensive survey of his representative poetry collections across different periods of his creative work, highlighting the subject of laughter in his poetry, and thereby assessing the value of the works that form the portrait of a literary author. Thirdly, based on the research in the previous sections, we study the satirical artistic techniques of the poet Tú Mỡ. This is what gave Tú Mỡ's satirical poetry its vitality throughout the 20th century, during the two protracted resistance wars of the nation, and its appeal and charm to this day. 11. Practical application: It can be applied in teaching Literature in high schools. 12. Further research directions: This topic can be further explored by expanding to include all published and posthumous poetry collections, relating it to the contemporary satirical literature, and exploring directions for the development of this literary genre. 13. Summary of the findings of the thesis: In the thesis The Laughing of Tu Mo's poems, we potray Tu Mo as a worth literature author in the social and literatural century context of the twentieth century - the beginning of twenty first century. Besides the beginning and the conclusion, we would like to clarify three parts. First of all, we explain the theoretical concept of the laugh, the laugh in life and the laugh in literature, thus we will clarify the role of Tu Mo in the ethnic literature. Second, we study carefully and entirely his typical poems through his period of writing to stand-out the laugh in his works, in which, we consider and evaluate the value of the works that make his portrait as a literary author. And the last, based on the researches in the previous parts, we learn about Tu Mo's satiric writing style. He obtains creatively and makes use of the culture and folk source, following the domestic and international poets in the previous time to make a modern as ethnic identity Tu Mo style. That created Tu Mo's satitic poems during the twentieth century with the two wars of resistance of the nation and the attraction of his poems up to now. 12. Practical applicability, if any: Can be used in teaching literature of Vietnam in High school. 13.
