Summary of the results of the thesis: In the thesis Laughter in Tu Mo's poetry, we create a portrait of Tu Mo as a literary author worthy of study in the social context and literary situation of the 20th century - early 21st century. In addition to the Introduction and Conclusion, we aim to clarify three issues. First, we introduce the theoretical concept of laughter, laughter in life and in literature, thereby highlighting the role of poet Tu Mo in national literature. Second, we conduct a detailed and comprehensive survey of his typical poetry collections through the stages of creation, highlighting the subject of laughter in his poetry, thereby identifying and evaluating the value of the works that make up the portrait of a literary author. Third, based on the research in the previous sections, we study the satirical artistic methods of poet Tu Mo. This is what made Tu Mo's satirical poetry vital throughout the 20th century with two long-term resistance wars of the nation, and the appeal and charm of his poetry to this day. 11. Practical applicability: Can be applied in teaching Literature in high schools. 12. Further research directions: Can further exploit this topic in the direction of expanding to all published poetry collections and those in posthumous form, connecting with the situation of contemporary satirical literature, finding directions for the development of this literary genre. 13. Summary of the findings of the thesis: In the thesis The Laughing of Tu Mo's poems, we potray Tu Mo as a worthy literature author in the social and literatural century context of the twentieth century - the beginning of twenty first century. Besides the beginning and the conclusion, we would like to clarify three parts. First of all, we explain the theoretical concept of the laugh, the laugh in life and the laugh in literature, thus we will clarify the role of Tu Mo in the ethnic literature. Second, we study carefully and entirely his typical poems through his period of writing to stand-out the laugh in his works, in which, we consider and evaluate the value of the works that make his portrait as a literary author. And the last, based on the researches in the previous parts, we learn about Tu Mo's satiric writing style. He obtains creatively and makes use of the culture and folk source, following the domestic and international poets in the previous of time to make a modern as ethnic identity Tu Mo style. That created Tu Mo's satitic poems during the twentieth century with the two wars of resistance of the nation and the attraction of his poems up to now. 12. Practical applicability, if any: Can be used in teaching literature of Vietnam in High school. 13.
