This is one of 19 scientific tasks under the National Social Sciences and Humanities Program for the period up to 2030 - code KX.03/21-30 named "Research and promotion of human values and resources to serve national development" (abbreviated as Program KX.03).
The workshop was attended by scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam Folk Arts Association; Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); Quang Ninh Museum; Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, etc.
With the theme "Theoretical issues on values and human resources in the Red River Delta to meet the requirements of national development in the new period", the workshop is a scientific forum to exchange and discuss in depth the concepts, approaches, contents and research methods related to values and human resources; identify typical human characteristics of the Red River Delta; and at the same time analyze the role, potential and ability to promote these resources in the context of the country's innovation of growth model and deep integration.

The research topic includes 07 groups of contents, including: (1) Analyzing and clarifying theoretical issues on values and human resources in the Red River Delta and promoting the potential of those values and human resources to meet the requirements of national development in the new period; (2) Researching, analyzing and determining the characteristics of the Red River Delta and the impact of these characteristics on the values and human resources of the region; (3) Identifying, analyzing and evaluating the values and human resources of the Red River Delta; (4) Researching, analyzing and evaluating the current status of using and promoting the values and human resources of the Red River Delta; (5) Researching the experience of promoting the values and human resources of some localities in Vietnam; (6) Researching and proposing a system of viewpoints and policies to promote the values and human resources of the Red River Delta, contributing to the development of the region and the country in the new period; (7) Research and propose solutions and conditions to ensure the promotion of human values and resources in the Red River Delta, contributing to the development of the region and the country in the new period.
The products of this scientific task include: 05 scientific articles published in scientific journals; 01 monograph; 03 postgraduate students writing theses with content related to the topic; 01 report summarizing the research results of the topic; 01 report summarizing the research results of the topic; 01 report recommending recommendations.
At the workshop, scientists exchanged and discussed aspects of the topic's content with issues such as: Framework for analyzing the topic Research, promoting values and human resources of the Red River Delta to serve the country's development in the new period (Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Quan); Analysis and clarification of concepts: values, value system, resources, promotion, sustainable development, new period, cultural economy, cultural industry (Professor, Dr. Lam Thi My Dung); The role of values, human resources and the Red River Delta in the country's development in the new period (Professor, Dr. Le Hong Ly); Building a set of criteria to determine the value of human resources in the Red River Delta to meet the requirements of national development in the new period (Dr. Dinh Duc Tien).

Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Head of the scientific task "Research and promotion of values and human resources in the Red River Delta to serve the country's development in the new period" emphasized that the workshop has reached a consensus on research viewpoints in all aspects of the topic. The Project Management Board has received valuable contributions from scientists to continue implementing the task in accordance with the requirements of the KX.03/21-30 Program, ensuring that the policy consulting contents are highly scientific and practical, bringing many values to localities in the Red River Delta in promoting values and human resources.
Scientists presented papers and contributed ideas to the topic. As the leading research and training center in the country in the field of social sciences and humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU has presided over research on many scientific topics and provided policy advice to central agencies and provinces and cities, contributing to the strong development of localities and the country.
