In the context of national innovation and international integration, in 1995, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was established on the basis of separating Hanoi University of Science. Up to now, after 30 years of development within the structure of Hanoi National University, inheriting the tradition of Literature - the essence of General Science, the University has innovated and developed into a leading center for scientific research, creation and dissemination of knowledge on social sciences and humanities in the country, training high-quality human resources, policy consulting, serving the community, serving society, making practical contributions to the cause of national defense and international integration of Vietnam. 30 years (1995-2025) is not a long process but it is enough experience for the University to look back on the past training and research journey, draw experience, prepare mentally to adapt to new opportunities, and aim for new successes in the upcoming journey. Towards the 80th anniversary of tradition and 30th anniversary of establishment, the School organized a scientific forum "Training and research in social sciences and humanities in the new context".
The forum will discuss the results achieved, reflect on the current development status of each training sector, and research and analyze the challenges that the University, units and sectors are facing in the current context. From there, there will be development orientations for social sciences and humanities in the future, contributing to the cause of education and serving the community, in the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
