The Party Congress of the Psychology Department for the 2020-2022 term was successfully held.

On behalf of the Presidium of the Congress, Comrade Truong Thi Khanh Ha – Secretary of the Party Branch for the 2017-2020 term – presented the Political Report summarizing the 2017-2020 term and outlining the direction and tasks for the 2020-2022 term. The report clearly indicated that during the past term, the Party Committee of the Psychology Department always maintained unity and cohesion, unwavering political resolve and determination, overcoming difficulties, and focusing on improving the quality of cadres and Party members, especially the teaching and research staff, creating motivation for cadres and Party members to successfully complete their tasks. 90% of the teaching staff in the Party Branch hold doctoral degrees or higher. Party members and lecturers actively promoted international publications, innovated teaching methods, and upheld academic discipline and order. In addition, the Party Branch successfully carried out the work of compiling textbooks and lecture materials. Party officials and members should proactively and actively study and research, strengthen the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation, and consciously implement the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought and morality.

During the 2017–2020 term, the Party Branch received guidance from the School's Party Committee and high consensus from all Party members, maintaining stability, ensuring peace of mind in their work, and striving to successfully complete the School's political tasks.

At the Congress, the Party Branch also presented a summary of feedback from Party members and the public on the draft Political Report of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Party members contributed opinions on issues related to the Party Branch's leadership and guidance in carrying out professional tasks and building a united, clean, and strong Party Branch.

In his address to the Congress, Comrade Pham Quang Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the School - acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of unity and the impressive results of the Party Branch. In particular, the young staff of the Faculty have a good understanding and are constantly learning and improving their professional skills. In the coming time, the Faculty's Party Branch needs to promote the joint efforts and solidarity of its members and staff to continue achieving new successes and contributing to the activities of the School.

The Congress proceeded to elect the Party Committee for the 2020-2022 term, consisting of 3 members: Comrade Truong Thi Khanh Ha - Secretary of the Party Branch; Comrade Nguyen Van Luot - Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch; and Comrade Trinh Thi Linh - Member of the Party Committee.
