Party Branch III, Administrative Block: Unity - Responsibility - Professionalism

Party Branch III of the Administrative Block is a specialized branch. In addition to organizing and directing the implementation of the branch's activities according to its functions and duties like other branches, it also performs the task of advising and assisting the Party Committee and the Board of Directors on professional matters under its responsibility.

Party Branch III of the Administrative Block currently has 16 party members (100% full members), working in the following units: Personnel and Organization Department, Cooperation and Development Department, Inspection and Legal Affairs Department, and Party and Union Offices, undertaking many important areas of the University. Among the 16 party members, there is: 1 member with the academic title of Professor; 3 members with PhDs; 11 members with Master's degrees; and 2 members with Bachelor's degrees. One member holds the position of Rector; 6 members hold the positions of Head or Deputy Head of Departments. In addition, many members also participate in Party, Trade Union, Youth Union, and National Defense and Security work of the University. Furthermore, the Party Branch is also assigned by the Party Committee to lead the activities of the Youth Union of the Administrative Block staff.

The Party cell has effectively fulfilled its role in advising and assisting the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, leading and directing the functional departments: the Personnel and Organization Department, the Cooperation and Development Department, the Information and Communication Department, and the Offices of the Youth Union to perform their assigned duties well.

With strong unity and consensus in understanding and action, upholding the spirit of Party members, engaging in criticism and self-criticism within the Party branch; frankly and sincerely contributing constructive opinions to the Party branch, Party members in the branch always uphold the spirit of exemplary conduct, actively and proactively overcoming difficulties to fulfill assigned tasks. Many comrades have been awarded prestigious honors from the Party and the State.

Besides the achievements, the Congress also pointed out some limitations: some tasks were not implemented quickly or effectively; effective solutions were not found to advise the Party Committee and the School's Board of Directors on attracting highly qualified staff to work at the school; the dissemination of materials promoting the school's image was still slow; there were not many proposals for solutions to address issues after inspections; and a legal information page had not yet been built on the school's website.

In comparison with the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2017-2020 term, the set targets have been successfully achieved by the Party Branch. The Party Branch has consistently achieved the title of a clean, strong, and outstandingly performing Party Branch every year.

The Congress proceeded with the election process, electing the Party Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary for the 2020-2022 term, as well as the delegation to attend the 28th Party Congress of the University.

Through the Party Branch Congress, all Party members enhanced their sense of responsibility in contributing opinions to the "Draft Political Report of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities at the 28th Congress, term 2020 - 2025".

At the Congress, Professor Pham Quang Minh highly appreciated the contributions of Party Branch III – Administrative Block to the building and development of the University. He emphasized: “Building the University of Social Sciences and Humanities into a research university” is a key task of the University in the coming years.” To achieve this, the involvement and synchronized contributions of all departments and faculties in the University are needed. Professor Pham Quang Minh congratulated the successful Congress of Party Branch III – Administrative Block, which received the unanimous agreement and support of all Party members in the Branch.

With the high sense of responsibility of the collective of cadres and party members in the branch, the Congress is confident that, during the 2020-2022 term, Branch III will excellently fulfill the targets presented to the Congress, contributing to the construction and development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the future.
