Attending the Opening Ceremony were Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of the School, delegates, and all outstanding youth union members and active participants in the Party awareness training course.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University – emphasized that the work of propaganda, education, training, and nurturing outstanding individuals to create a source for new Party members is a regular task of Party committees at all levels, and also a task of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, which the University Party Committee pays special attention to. The training and nurturing of outstanding individuals, including exemplary Youth Union members and active students in the university, to create a source for new Party members is of paramount importance in Party building; it strengthens the Party Committee of the University in particular and the entire Party in general.
Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of the School) delivered a speech at the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Party Awareness Training Course.
At the same time, Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan also urged the trainees to identify the correct motivation for striving to join the Party, strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the class, and complete their final assignments with high quality in order to successfully finish the course.
Over the two days of December 4th and 11th, the trainees studied and researched five topics according to the Central Committee's curriculum: An overview of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; The platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism; The basic content of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam; and one elective topic: The ideals and aspirations of youth in the context of national integration and development.
Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Thinh (Former Head of the Department of Party History, Faculty of History) lectured on the topic "Overview of the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Platform for Building the Country during the Transition Period to Socialism".
Dr. Tran Bach Hieu (Deputy Head of the Department of Religious Studies) lectured on the topic of Studying and Following the Ideology, Morality, and Style of Ho Chi Minh.
Associate Professor Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Head of the Personnel and Organization Department) delivered lectures on the following topics: Basic content of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Striving to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam; and Ideals and aspirations of youth in the context of integration and national development.
After the intensive training period, trainees will have 7 days to conduct independent research, study, and write a report. Through this process, trainees will develop a firm political stance, continuously cultivate and refine their revolutionary qualities and ethics, and determine the correct motivation for striving to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
