Mr. Nguyen Van Thuy (Head of Administration and General Affairs Department) presented a summary report on the results of work in November, emphasizing that November is a crucial month for the education sector, with many activities commemorating Teachers' Day and the founding anniversaries of Faculties/Departments. However, professional work was still carried out on schedule: Organizing the Party work conference, evaluating and classifying the quality of Party members in 2022; successfully organizing activities commemorating Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th and the founding anniversaries of faculties in a solemn and warm manner; implementing the teacher recruitment process for the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, consolidating leadership and management personnel in various units; finalizing the study plan for students of the QH-2022-X cohort, inaugurating postgraduate courses; approving self-assessment reports for several training programs; editing and preparing for publication of the Proceedings of the First International Conference on Social Sciences Issues; The report outlines several key tasks for December, including restructuring and launching the Communication and Information Technology Center, reviewing all static information on the University's website, supporting lecturers in implementing online teaching for the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year on the VNU online platform, etc. Regarding the December plan, the report highlights several priority tasks: finalizing the performance evaluation of staff and employees for 2022; organizing the fourth round of bachelor's degree graduation examinations and master's thesis defense procedures for students; organizing external evaluations for 7 training programs (expected at the end of December); developing and finalizing the 2023 science and technology plan, coordinating the organization of scientific conferences; and conducting a comprehensive inventory of fixed assets for the entire University in 2022.

Also at the briefing conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Head of the Personnel Department) emphasized some new points to note in Government Decree 50 dated August 5, 2022, on extending the retirement age for lecturers with the academic titles of Associate Professor and Professor.
The Head of the Personnel Department analyzed several new points related to extending the retirement age for faculty members as stipulated in Decree 50, and also outlined a specific implementation plan at the University.
At the final monthly meeting of 2022, the faculty members of the Board of Directors summarized the most outstanding achievements in the following areas: training; scientific research, cooperation and development; administration, facilities, etc., while also emphasizing several areas that require high priority for completion in December.
Vice Rector Dao Thanh Truong shared: 2022 was a year of major changes in regulations and policies regarding scientific research; a close connection between training and scientific research; and strong breakthroughs in the field of cooperation and development.
Vice Rector Lai Quoc Khanh expressed his gratitude for the consensus and close cooperation of the faculties/departments and affiliated units in the plan to renovate and upgrade facilities, administrative work, and university management, etc.
Based on listening to the opinions and discussions of the units and functional departments, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan concluded by emphasizing several key tasks:
- Assign the Student Affairs and Student Support Department as the focal point for organizing dialogues between the university leadership and students in a spirit of frankness, listening, sharing, and supporting students.
- Review, research, and develop plans to improve the recruitment and appointment of officials in accordance with regulations; disseminate and guide units to understand and correctly implement the new State regulations on personnel work.
- Complete the necessary steps to promptly implement the 2023 admissions plans, adhering closely to the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and changes in the education sector. Strengthen activities to support students in fulfilling the requirements for foreign language certificates to graduate on time.
- Urgently complete the supporting documentation for accredited training programs to serve the official evaluation survey at the end of December.
- Review and inventory assets and develop a plan for repair, renovation, and equipment upgrades in 2023 for approval by the school leadership.
