Principal Hoang Anh Tuan chaired the December school meeting
MSc. Nguyen Van Thuy (Head of Administration - General Department) presented a summary report on the results of November's work, emphasizing that November is the month of the education sector, with many activities celebrating Teachers' Day and the founding day of the Faculty/Department. However, professional work is still being carried out on schedule: Organizing the Party Work Conference, evaluating and classifying the quality of Party members in 2022; successfully organizing activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, solemnly and warmly celebrating the founding of faculties; implementing the process of recruiting teachers for the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, perfecting the leadership and management personnel of units; completing the study plan for students of the QH-2022-X course, opening the postgraduate course; approving self-assessment reports of a number of training programs; editing and preparing to publish the Proceedings of the First International Conference on Social Sciences; Restructuring and launching the Center for Communications and Information Technology, reviewing all static information on the School's website, supporting lecturers in implementing online teaching for the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year on the online platform of VNU, etc. Regarding the December plan, the report clearly stated a number of key tasks: completing the assessment and classification of civil servants and employees in 2022; organizing the 4th regular bachelor's graduation exam, procedures for defending master's theses for students; organizing external assessments for 07 training programs (expected by the end of December); developing and completing the 2023 science and technology plan, coordinating the organization of scientific seminars; organizing a general inventory of fixed assets in 2022 for the whole School, etc.

Head of Administration - General Department Nguyen Van Thuy emphasized some results in December and December's action plan.
Also at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Duc Thuan (Head of the Department of Personnel Organization) emphasized a number of new points to note in Decree 50 dated August 5, 2022 of the Government on extending the retirement age for a lecturer with the academic title of Associate Professor and Professor.
The Head of TCCB analyzed some new points related to extending the retirement age for lecturers and staff as stipulated in Decree 50 as well as proposing specific implementation plans at the School.
In the last monthly meeting of 2022, teachers in the Board of Directors summarized the most outstanding results in the following areas: training; scientific research, development cooperation; administration, facilities, etc., and emphasized some contents that need to be highly focused on to complete in December.
Vice Principal Dao Thanh Truong shared: 2022 is a year of major changes in regulations and policies in scientific research work; closely linking training and scientific research; the field of development cooperation also has strong breakthroughs.
Vice Principal Lai Quoc Khanh expressed his thanks for the consensus and close coordination of faculties/departments and affiliated units in the plan to renovate and upgrade facilities, administrative work, university management, etc.
Based on listening to opinions and discussions of units and functional departments, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan concluded and emphasized a number of key tasks:
- Assign the Student Affairs Department to be the focal point for organizing dialogue between school leaders and students in the spirit of frankness, listening, sharing and supporting students.
- Review, research and develop plans to complete recruitment and appointment of staff in accordance with regulations; disseminate and guide units to clearly understand and properly implement new State regulations on personnel work.
- Complete steps to soon implement the 2023 enrollment plans based on the regulations of VNU and changes in the education sector. Strengthen activities to support students in completing foreign language certificate requirements to graduate on time.
- Urgently complete the supporting documents of the accredited training programs to serve the official assessment survey by the end of December.
- Review, inventory assets and develop a plan for repairing, renovating, and adding equipment in 2023 for approval by the School leadership.
