Based on the report on the results of work implementation in April and the first quarter of 2024, statements from Vice Principals and exchanges and discussions from attending delegates, the Conference agreed on a number of key contents to be implemented in May 2024:
- Review the overall picture of the planning of the industry/major/training program in the spirit of innovation, creativity, adaptation to the new context of higher education, demonstrating social responsibility on the basis of identity and humanistic traditions; propose to build training programs that promote the strengths of the School while meeting the practical needs and trends of the labor market.
- Proactively develop and propose to open/adjust undergraduate training programs to submit to VNU for approval in time for the new enrollment season; urgently complete the master's and doctoral training programs that have been developed to be able to enroll students in the second round of 2024.
- Study, grasp and update information on changes in the State's policies related to science and technology; proactively research and propose science and technology tasks in the spirit of closely following the overall and key science and technology strategies and tasks of the School, affirming the position of key industries, linking science and technology tasks with training and developing scientific staff.
- The scientific department and expert/research groups proactively build key scientific task clusters/groups.
- Urgently implement the Project of Compiling and publishing scientific publications to serve training and scientific research to celebrate the 80th anniversary of tradition and 30th anniversary of the School's establishment: Assign units to proactively propose and develop manuscript content; the Department of Scientific Research Management is the focal point, administratively manages and guides units to implement in accordance with regulations.
- Issue the 2024 regular university admission project, increase widespread communication to a wide range of parents and students; especially about new majors, new points in the project such as quotas, admission combinations, admission methods, etc.
- Complete the plan to renovate and repair facilities (facade of Building C, Building H, Building G), purchase equipment to ensure compliance with State procedures and regulations, safety, savings, and minimize impact on teaching and learning activities of lecturers and students.
