The seminar was attended by speaker Nguyen Phong Anh - a media digital transformation consultant with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence (AI); representatives from the University's Trade Union Executive Committee; the Departmental Trade Union Executive Committees; and faculty members who are trade union members of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology and other departmental trade unions.
The seminar "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Research" attracted the participation of many staff and lecturers from VNU-USSH.

The seminar consisted of two sessions with four main topics:
- Introduction to the operating principles of AI generation: Providing basic knowledge about how AI generation works, helping participants gain an overview and better understand this technology.
- Providing guidance on fundamental AI skills, such as: how to design prompts to effectively mine data from AI, including role-playing techniques, requirements description, step-by-step work, and example-based instruction.
- AI applications in research and teaching: sharing real-world case studies and introducing AI tools for research and teaching, thereby helping lecturers and researchers apply them immediately to their work.
- Several ethical issues in the use of AI are discussed, emphasizing the role of social sciences and humanities in AI research and application to ensure the sustainable and responsible development of this technology.
The seminar created a forum for lecturers and researchers to discuss, share experiences, and learn from each other about the applications of artificial intelligence. This not only enhanced knowledge but also sparked interest in learning about and applying AI in teaching and research.
The seminar "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Research" contributes to promoting the application of AI technology in the higher education environment, while affirming the interest of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in accessing and applying advanced technologies to teaching and research practices, with the Faculty of Information and Library Science being the pioneering unit in implementing it.
