The seminar is organized in 2 sessions with 4 main contents:
- Introduction to the working principle of generative AI: Provides basic knowledge about how generative AI works, helping attendees have an overview and better understand this technology.
- Guide to basic AI skills, such as: how to design prompts to effectively mine data from AI, including role-playing techniques, describing requirements, working step by step and guiding by example.
- AI applications in research and teaching: sharing real-life situations and introducing AI application tools in research and teaching, thereby helping lecturers and researchers to immediately apply them to their work.
- Some ethical issues in the use of AI, emphasizing the role of social sciences and humanities in the research and application of AI, to ensure the sustainable and responsible development of this technology.
The seminar created a forum for lecturers and researchers to discuss, share experiences and learn from each other about the applications of artificial intelligence. Thereby, not only improving knowledge but also stimulating interest in learning and applying AI in teaching and research.
The seminar "Application of artificial intelligence in teaching and research" contributes to promoting the application of AI technology in the university education environment, while affirming the interest of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in accessing and applying advanced technologies in teaching and research practices, in which the Faculty of Information and Library Science will be the pioneer in implementation.
