Peer quality assessment of training program for master's degree in Religious Studies and Library Information Science

On December 23 and 24, 2021, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities welcomed a delegation of assessment experts from Vietnam National University, Hanoi to conduct an external assessment of the master's training program in Religious Studies and Library Information Science according to the standards of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, oriented towards AUN-QA standards. The assessment of the master's training program in Religious Studies was led by Dr. Nguyen Kieu Oanh and the assessment of the master's training program in Library Information Science was led by Dr. Tran Thi Hoai.

At the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, this is the first time the University has organized a self-assessment report and an external assessment for two master's training programs. During the two working days, the assessment team listened to the two units introduce the training programs and conducted interviews with employers; alumni; graduate students; lecturers; support staff of the two training programs, and inspected the evidence and training facilities of the two majors;

At the closing session, with the participation of Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, representatives of functional departments and all staff, lecturers and experts of the two units, the external evaluation team gave an overview of the strengths, weaknesses and made recommendations to improve the quality of the two training programs. On behalf of the University, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong expressed his deep gratitude to the evaluation team.
