Peer Quality Assessment of Linguistics Training Program

The opening ceremony of the evaluation program was attended by Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong (Vice Principal of the School); Associate Professor, Dr. Trinh Cam Lan (Head of the Faculty of Linguistics) and representatives of leaders of relevant departments and offices, and all lecturers of the Faculty of Linguistics.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong (Vice Principal of the School) delivered the opening speech and emphasized: "The goal of evaluating the quality of the training program is to identify the strengths and weaknesses, to find suitable solutions for the development process of each unit in particular and the whole School in general." This has been a regular activity of the School for many years to evaluate and improve the quality of education of the School.

According to Dr. Tran Thi Hoai - Head of the Expert Group, she highly appreciated the attention and direction of the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the peer quality assessment of the majors being trained at the school. According to Dr. Tran Thi Hoai, the role and responsibility of the Expert Group is to accompany the Faculty of Linguistics in identifying issues according to quality assessment standards. The parties work in a spirit of frankness, openness and high responsibility.

Associate Professor Dr. Trinh Cam Lan (Head of the Faculty of Linguistics) briefly introduced the self-assessment report of the standard training program of Linguistics. The assessment of training quality is recognized by the entire Faculty as an extremely necessary and effective task. Through the assessment, the Faculty can review all aspects of training and better ensure the requirements of society for the training of the Faculty. At the same time, Associate Professor Dr. Trinh Cam Lan (Head of the Faculty of Linguistics) also expressed her deep gratitude to the Expert Group, the School, the departments and all the staff and lecturers of the Faculty of Linguistics for always encouraging each other to make efforts and complete the report presented to the School Council and the Peer Assessment Council today.

Next, the expert team conducted the following activities: studying supporting documents, interviewing key members of the Faculty including: Faculty Leadership Board, Department Heads, Lecturers, and inspecting the facilities: Faculty Office, classrooms, documentation room, practice rooms, etc.
