The official survey to assess the quality of education at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was a great success.

Attending the closing ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector), Vice Rectors and heads of functional departments, faculties, affiliated departments, leaders of mass organizations attending directly at the hall and online via zoom.

On the side of the External Evaluation Team of the Center for Education Quality Assessment, Ho Chi Minh City National University, there were 6 official members and 1 secretary led by Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van as Head of the Team attending directly at the Hall.

On behalf of the Evaluation Team, Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van gave a preliminary introduction to the official survey, and then the members of the Evaluation Team presented the strengths that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had achieved in the period from 2017 to 2021 on the evaluation criteria: quality assurance (QA) in strategy; QA in system; QA in function implementation; and performance results.

The preliminary report of the Evaluation Delegation showed recognition and high appreciation of the strengths and achievements of the school in the past 5 years, while also pointing out some remaining issues and recommending solutions to further improve the quality of the educational institution in 3 areas: training, scientific research and community service.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and all staff, lecturers and students, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan would like to express his sincere thanks to the Center for Educational Accreditation, Ho Chi Minh City National University and the External Evaluation Team for accompanying the school. During the 5 days of the official survey, the members of the Team worked very hard, enthusiastically and urgently and gave very objective and accurate assessments. The notes on strengths and results in the evaluation report of the Team are a great source of encouragement and motivation for the Board of Directors, staff and lecturers of the school, but the shortcomings pointed out by the Team are also extremely valuable comments. Based on those recommendations, advice and instructions, the school will seriously and fully research and quickly propose solutions to improve and enhance the quality of training, scientific research and especially community service.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam (Director of the Center for Education Quality Assessment of VNU-HCM) congratulated the Evaluation Team on completing one of the most important stages in the second evaluation cycle: an official survey at the educational institution of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Center for Education Quality Assessment of VNU-HCM is truly pleased to be the unit accompanying the school in this evaluation cycle and sees that compared to the previous evaluation cycle, the school has made many improvements, changes and developments. I am confident that, with the determination of the Board of Directors, all staff, lecturers and students, based on the recommendations and advice of the Evaluation Team of the second cycle, in the coming time, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to develop and achieve more achievements.

At the end of the closing session, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan and Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van conducted a signing ceremony of the Minutes of Completion of the official survey.
