The official quality assurance survey at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was successfully completed.

Attending the closing ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector), the Vice Rectors and heads of functional departments, faculties, and affiliated departments, as well as leaders of student organizations, who attended in person in the auditorium and online via Zoom.

The external evaluation team from the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, consisted of 6 official members and 1 secretary, led by Professor Dr. Dang Ung Van, who attended the meeting in person.

Professor Dang Ung Van, on behalf of the Evaluation Team, gave a brief introduction to the official survey, and then the members of the Evaluation Team successively presented the strengths that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had achieved in the period from 2017 to 2021 based on the evaluation standards: quality assurance (QA) in strategy; QA in systems; QA in functional implementation; and operational results.

The preliminary report of the Evaluation Team highly appreciated the strengths and achievements of the school over the past five years, while also highlighting some shortcomings and recommending solutions to further improve the quality of the educational institution in three areas: training, scientific research, and community service.

Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, on behalf of the leadership and all staff, lecturers, and students, extends his most sincere gratitude to the Center for Educational Accreditation, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, and the External Evaluation Team for their cooperation with the university. Throughout the five days of the official survey, the team members worked diligently, enthusiastically, and promptly, providing highly objective and accurate assessments. The strengths and achievements highlighted in the team's evaluation report are a great source of encouragement for the leadership, staff, and lecturers of the university. However, the shortcomings pointed out by the team are also invaluable suggestions. Based on these recommendations, advice, and guidance, the university will seriously and thoroughly study and promptly develop solutions to improve and enhance the quality of training, scientific research, and especially community service.

Associate Professor Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam (Director of the Center for Quality Assurance in Education, VNU-HCM) congratulated the Evaluation Team on completing one of the most important stages in the second evaluation cycle: the official survey at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Center for Quality Assurance in Education, VNU-HCM, is truly delighted to have partnered with the university in this evaluation cycle and observes that compared to the previous evaluation cycle, the university has made many improvements, changes, and developments. We are confident that, with the determination of the leadership, all staff, lecturers, and students, and based on the recommendations and advice of the Evaluation Team in the second cycle, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to develop and achieve even more accomplishments in the future.

At the end of the closing session, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan and Professor Dang Ung Van signed the minutes confirming the completion of the official survey.

On behalf of the entire leadership, staff, faculty, and students of the university, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan presented commemorative gifts and bouquets of fresh flowers as a token of deep gratitude to the External Evaluation Team.
