Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the School), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Principal), along with teachers in the Board of Directors of Departments, Faculties, and Departments under the School. Especially, there were 36 new PhDs, 88 Masters and many relatives and friends of the PhDs to encourage and congratulate.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the University, President Hoang Anh Tuan sent warm congratulations to all graduate students and researchers who have completed their studies, research and obtained PhD and Master's degrees. Sharing about the achievements in training and scientific research of the University in 2023, President Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized: "In the general context of higher education facing the problem of enrollment, maintaining and improving the quality of training, especially postgraduate training, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is very proud that enrollment at all levels has exceeded the targets assigned by VNU in both quantity and quality. Many of the University's training programs have achieved quality accreditation according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training and AUN-QA".
Over the past two years, despite facing many difficulties and pressures due to changes in training regulations and the Covid-19 pandemic, students and PhD students have made every effort to complete and excellently complete their tasks and learning goals. Their achievements are the pride of the School and contribute to affirming the correctness of the strategy of taking quality as a philosophy and breakthrough in training. Principal Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his hope that all masters and PhDs will promote the spirit of self-study and lifelong learning, continue today's learning results, arrange work and time to continue studying at higher levels. Hanoi National University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have many postdoctoral scholarships and 32 doctoral training programs (of which 31 are currently available and 01 additional PhD in Cultural Management will officially enroll in 2024). Therefore, the School warmly welcomes Masters in the next levels of study.

During the graduation ceremony, the school's Principal also awarded prizes to PhDs and Masters who achieved outstanding achievements in study and research.
As one of the PhDs with excellent academic results, the new PhD Chu Cong Hung (Oriental Studies) on behalf of the PhDs and Masters shared a touching story about his time studying at the School: “Today, standing on this solemn stage, I am extremely happy and moved. Because both my wife and I officially received a PhD degree from the leading school in Vietnam in training and research in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities. Studying for a PhD is indeed an extremely difficult and challenging time, and a student has to work hard. My family and I both go to school, so the difficulties are multiplied many times. Many times we felt discouraged, even thinking of stopping studying. But with our own determination, encouragement from our families, creating favorable conditions from our agencies and colleagues, especially the wholehearted and dedicated support from the School, faculty and instructors, we have overcome everything to reach the glory of this day. Today. On behalf of all the new PhDs and new Masters, I would like to express my deep gratitude for that support and encouragement. With what the teachers at Hanoi University of Humanities have imparted, we are completely confident in our professional knowledge and courage to complete our work well and contribute more to society.
